Hello everyone! I’m sorry to interrupt the Gotham Girls Podcast page, but this is important. I would just like to take a few minutes of your time to help Shaunie, a fellow friend and fan of Hawkgirl. She has gone through so much and is in some trouble. Having a bad mom, becoming an amazing mother for her twin babies, is being evicted for awful reasons, and is having a lot of legal problems while finding a new place to stay due to Shaunie’s mom. Her and her twin babies don’t have a place to stay, and are asking for some help. For more information about Shaunie and her twin babies, go here (I hope you can help) -RL: http://www.gofundme.com/7b8w0w
Just got done playing the Injustice Gods Among Us demo. The demo playable characters are Wonder Woman, Batman, and Lex Luther. The super attacks (“finishing moves”) in the demo are the best part. I especially love the part where batman calls in the batmobile to run his opponent over. Which I have to say is really brutal for the B-man. I also like how you can sometimes use the environment as deadly weapons, you can punch your opponent into a flying plane or even throw the Bat signal at your opponent. Time for my bad news… The game play is only so-so. Graphics are so-so. What dialogue was present in the demo was so-so, I was disappointed that the characters said the same thing before and after every match. With that said, the voice actors seem to be in order. I’m using the term so-so very loosely, so some may think of it to be crappy. Hopefully there will be more dialogue in the full game. I hope the story mode in the full game will be good, because so far that is the only thing that I want to play it for. As usual for fighting games, this game is better with friends to play with. I give this demo 3 batarangs out of 5.
I thought this scene was hilarious. This is surprisingly from the Injustice comic book series… I know, right?! o.o … ahem, anyway, So far I think this series is on the right trail. This may be one of my favorite comic books at the moment, don’t screw this up for me, DC. Harley still looks a little more under-dressed than I would like, but I’m letting that go since she still has her lovely personality. :)
